Dear Goad family,

I want to tell you how sorry I am for your loss.

My name is Dovie Gross.  I met Perry when I was seated  next to him on the flight form Miami to Tegucigalpa.  I was  part of  mission team working in another area in Honduras.  Perry and I spoke of the different trips we had been on in the past and how we had seen God work.  Perry spoke of his passion for missions and how he loved being able to help others.  He talked of the work his team would be doing.  He was excited about the trip.  His love for God was obivious, and there was no doubt he was a man of God

Perry fondly spoke of  his family.  It was evident that he loved you dearly.

I first learned of the accident on Wednesdasy morning while in Honduras.  My thoughts and prayers have been and continue to be with you.

In Christ
Dovie

Member of Perry's & Ric's Sunday School Class PDF Print E-mail

Danny,
Perry was in my Sunday School Class.  All I can tell
you is that he was one heck of a guy.  What you saw
was what you got.  He didn't put on any pretenses for
anyone.  I like people that aren't afraid of being
themselves.  Although he enjoyed picking at me, I
thought the world of him.  Ric was our Sunday School
teacher and he and Perry had a special bond.  Our
class will NEVER be the same.  Perry was a great guy
and I miss him.

Kendra and I have always been very close. When Kendra was 9 years old Sharon and I took her to a Christmas Play at Woodstock First Baptist Church. When Pastor Johnny Hunt gave the invitation, Kendra went to the alter and asked if she was old enough to invite Jesus into her heart. In the next few weeks Kendra had her whole family in church. Thanks to Kendra my brother Perry was a dedicated Chistian.

I am very proud to be your Uncle D!
